I am a third year PhD candidate studying the role that stress granules play in the cell cycle and DNA damage response, with previous experience in RNA biology, biochemistry, and cancer biology. I am at my happiest when doing an experiment in the lab. When not in the lab, I like riding my bike, reading, hiking, and finding good places to eat in Tucson. I am also a huge Star Wars and Lord of the Rings fan (Luke Skywalker and Aragorn for the win 😂!), so you may find me having intense discussions with other lab members about these things on a weekly basis.
